10. Mike Portnoy - Dream Theater

Michael Stephen Portnoy (born April 20, 1967) is an American drummer primarily known as the drummer and backing vocalist of progressive metal band Dream Theater. Drum is known for his prowess and technical expertise, Portnoy has won 23 awards from the magazine of modern drummer. He has been put together to produce the last five Dream Theater albums with guitarist John Petrucci, starting from the metropolis pt. 2: Scenes from a memory. From a change of seasons and so on, Portnoy has written a large number of lyrics dream theater, filling the void left by kevin moore, who left the band after the release of the band Awake. He is the second youngest person (after Neil Peart) who will be sworn into the modern drummer's hall of fame (at age 37 years).

William Scott Bruford (born May 17, 1949 in Sevenoaks, Kent), better known as Bill Bruford, is a British drummer who recognized a strong, high precision, and polyrhythmic. He was the original drummer for a very successful progressive rock group Yes, and has been a leading figure in progressive rock movement. Bruford has conducted a number of popular acts since the early 1970s, including duty as the drummer for Genesis. From 1972 to 1997, Bruford was the drummer for the progressive rock band King Crimson. Bruford moving away from progressive rock to concentrate on jazz, leading his own jazz group, Earthworks, for several years. 6. Terry Bozzio - Frank Zappa

Terry Bozzio was born December 27, 1950 in San Francisco, California. He began playing drums at the age of six years from a variety of waste materials such as cans of coffee and stick fracture. At age 13 he witnessed the performance of the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show, and begged her father for drum lessons. During this period he played in garage band the Blue Grass Radio, The Yarde, and Tamalpaias Jungle Mountain Boys.
